Yes – it’s happening again!
After our excursions up north in 2026, we’re bringing our ‘Sort Your Faith Out’ weekend down south to the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside in 2027.
Join us for a weekend of conversation, reflection, relaxation and, knowing us, complete mystification.
It’s a great opportunity to meet with others who are experiencing the joys and pains of the mid-faith crisis.

Where?
Highgate House, Creaton, Northamptonshire NN6 8NN
When?
3-5 September 2027
How Much?
£295 per person
How to book
- Register your interest by sending an email to joe@midfaithcrisis.org.
Make the subject of your email obvious. (Personally I’d go for ‘Mid-faith Crisis Church Weekend 2027’. If you click the link above it should be filled in for you.)
Tell us who you are and how many of you.
Indicate if you are intending to share a room.
Also, if you have accessibility issues it would be good to know that as early as possible. - We will then send you an invoice for the required amount and details how to pay.
- Once you have paid we will send you booking confirmation and any further details.
PLEASE NOTE: We’re allocating space on a first-come, first-served basis. Your booking will only be confirmed after we have received payment.
That’s all there is to it for now!
What is the venue like?
You can find out more at their website. But here’s a little video preview.
How many people will be there?
Who knows? Based on the last event probably around 100, but we’ll try not to overcrowd the place.
What are the rooms like?
There are 82 bedrooms, the majority of which are double rooms. All of the rooms feature en-suites. Find out more at their website.
Is there a single room supplement?
No. Everyone pays the same price. But we would encourage people to share a room if they feel able – it allows more people to come!
Will it be exactly the same as the 2026 event?
I wouldn’t have thought so. At the moment we’re planning to use the Sort Your Faith Out theme – because we think it worked really well, and a lot of people weren’t able to make it up to the Lake District. But no doubt we’ll be including some new ideas. And in our experience no two MFC events are ever the same!
What’s it like to be part of?
Well – here’s a few comments from our 2026 edition:
‘Before this weekend, I’d never been in the company of people who expressed so much of what I was feeling… just want to say a huge thank you to everyone for your warmth and openness – and to Joe and Nick for your great input and for really challenging me to think, all whilst making me feel like I’d been watching comedy on the Edinburgh Fringe.’
‘What a thoroughly fun, thought-provoking and life affirming weekend – thank you so much. In particular, I loved how nothing was ‘off the table’, with a remarkable level of honesty, acceptance, empathy and understanding.’
‘Such an enriching and supportive time, meeting wonderful fellow listeners. Heartening to hear and feel solidarity and connection with so many on their honest faith journeys. It was overall life-giving and affirming and felt like a real community. A wonderful opportunity to meet face to face, in such a beautiful place.‘
