Some episodes are missing from Spotify.
This is because Spotify’s algorithms keep wrongly flagging our theme music for copyright infringement.
This is a complete load of [bongos]. It’s actually a piece of music called ‘April Kisses’ which was composed and performed by Eddie Lang. He died in 1933. The catalogue number is Okeh 40807 and I got it from the Open Music archive. So the music is clearly in the public domain.
Anyway, if you can’t access the show on Spotify, then you can listen to it either via this website, or by using an app.
For Apple devices there is obviously the free, built-in, Apple Podcasts app. Personally, I (Nick) use Overcast. Downcast is also very good. And there are many others on the App Store.
For Android devices, the apps I see most recommended are
– Podcast Addict
– Podcast Republic
– Pocket Casts (Works on both platforms.)
